The brain is a battery; a cold hard empirical fact. Think about it: the left side is the negative electrode; it says 'no' to everything & 'yes' to nothing. The right side is the positive electrode. It says 'no' to nothing and 'yes' to everything. Put it together, and you have a battery which sends an electric impulse through the body.
Earth is another battery; another cold hard empirical fact. Think about it: the north pole is the negative electrode, and the south pole is the positive electrode. Put it together: it's a battery.
Therefore, sleep with your left ear to the south, your right ear to the north and let Earth charge you!
