Did you know that the word Marijuana was introduced in American popular culture in 1937 by Harry S. Anslinger and the Marijuana Tax Act? It was used to incite fearful emotions in the public because we feared Mexicans, and it is a Mexican word. Feeling LET ME SEE. Harry S. Anslinger was a loser who helped pass the Marijuana Tax Act of 1937 because DuPont invented Nylon, which was a synthetic fiber that competed with pot (hemp), oh well.

I am going be on the leading edge of this movement. I'll wager in 20-100 years, it will be legalized everywhere in the entire United States.

This 1937 Tax act was a blip in history. It will be over before you know it. Marijuana is a peaceful beneficiary substance that should be legalized. It should be legal. It was always that way until the 20th century, and it will be unfettered from its stupid outlawed status in a number of years. Why it was outlawed in the first place was a matter of stupid politicians gaining stupid political gains. There is no reason more than there was reason to prohibit the sale of alcohol in the 1920's. Alcohol is dangerous, but there is no reason to restrict the sale thereof. Marijuana, too is "dangerous," but saying that you should outlaw it is as stupid as saying that you should outlaw a diving board at a swimming pool, or cars, or any prescription medication for that matter. (They will get you somewhere, but if you abuse them, and drive too fast, you will probably get in a wreck. The same is true for pot. It will get you somewhere, but if you take too much, you will get stoned, and you will regret it. You might say or do something stupid, and you are pretty much likely to.) Pot should be legalized everywhere. Because it is a Relatively safe substance that harbors very few very relatively small risks.

That it should be outlawed is the stupidest piece of shit this side of the Missouri river.

It is a completely safe substance, except for the possible chance overdose, which will leave you stupid for a matter of hours. You would rather be stupid than in the hospital.

It is a herb, a plant, a SPICE

It can't really harm you, unless you take too much, in which it will probably just stupefy your mind for a few hours. And then it will be over, and you won't suffer any more.

This outlawing will be over in a number of years, for this outlawing is a blip in history that has no sensical foundation.

Harry S. Anslinger created the law because he was paranoid about Mexicans and Negroes and he wanted to make things easy for DuPont. Whites were using cannabis just as much as the Mexicans and Negroes, but Harry S. Anslinger got paranoid and thought: "We must do something about this drug before the Mexicans and the Negroes get even more out of hand." Hemp was a perfect fiber. DuPont invented Nylon. DuPont didn't want the competition of Hemp. So Harry S. Anslinger decided to outlaw hemp.

Let's legalize it before the cops, who are just told by the government to enforce the law, arrest more innocent people.

The law is just being held onto by the government due to ingrained government policies and systems on which many people make a living. Policemen, law enforcement officers, drug testing agencies, substance abuse counselors, and millions of others make their profit off of the law. It may take 50-100 years until they go into retirement and the whole system is replaced by the more, profitable, sensible, and advantageous system that we could have of cannabis legality.
