My journey

My journey was lonely.
I spent most of my time alone.
I had to learn to enjoy my solitude.
I talked to a lot of people from a distance- they weren't really there, but I pretended they were. I slept in my sleeping bag on the ground in a majority of places.
Mine was a love affair with places.
I saw the states of Alabama, Georgia, and Mississippi from the outdoors (for weeks on a stretch). Too did I see Tennessee, Arkansas, and Oklahoma (in like manner). I travelled to Colorado and lived there for 2 years. Then I travelled up to Oregon and Washington by way of Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho... I still want to go to China or something like that, but for now, I have to be satisfied with my memories from these states. I was not entirely satisfied by my visions of these states... but Mississippi was a nice state, and I enjoyed riding my bike around in the others.
I tried to get to know people, but take my social 'anxiety' and add on top of it a missing tooth in a face, and it was very very hard. The most fun was RIDING.
