DREAMS LAST NIGHT

I didn't catch any dreams on my recorder last night, but I remember, I got on the school bus at St. John's in Annapolis, and the bus driver started driving all of us home, but then I walked to the front of the bus, and I told the bus driver that I had left my trumpet at school. He said, "That's okay. We can go back there after I've dropped everybody else off." I said, "Thank you" as I looked in his black eyes. It was already nighttime. In the back of the bus, Josephine said, "I love you" as she got off, to someone else, so I said "I love you," back to her, even though she wasn't talkin' to me. Another fat, plump girl was lookin' at me like she wanted me; I thought, "She's not desirable like Josephine, but I should fuck her, for it's not good to waste opportunities like this." She had brown hair. When I was back at school, I spoke to that guy Philip who I used to know in Savannah- but we weren't saying much, and I said, "You know, I think about 90% of people must be more conversational than me," and he said, "Yeah, yeah, I think that's right."

Later, I was in the dormitory at St. John's, doing something. I climbed some white steps.

The song Whiter Shade Of Pale in my head this morning.
