Two Questions I Can Remember Asking As A Child

I remember asking the questions, when I was a child,

Who invented water? And

Where did people get the idea to perform oral sex?

I thought both of these exceedingly clever questions.

I thought I would provide the 'answers' that my parents gave: 

To the first one, my parents said, 'God,' as if there was no need to ponder it any further. Okay, but somehow that answer was unsatisfying.

When I asked the second, my mother became awkward, and said, 'Well, it was just a natural thing... People exploring... People just doing what came naturally to them.' That was all.
