I think human beings have a superiority complex. We are not the only species on the planet, you know. Whatever we do that's good for us may be outright bad for the other species on the planet... 

Sometimes it's not about how much good you do, but how much bad you do not do.

For example, humans pollute the planet every day with waste. We kill other animals. We fence them in and eat them. 

Most of us live in houses, but are cut off from nature... 

We manufacture molecules that damage the environment.
