The Serenity Prayer

God, grant us serenity to accept what we can’t change, 

courage to change what we can, 

and wisdom to know the difference.

We can’t change the fact of life, death, the past, or taxes, so might as well get with them.

We’re always faced with the present moment, so that’s the one thing we CAN change: our present attitude.

The difference is revealed through this piece of writing, but the wisdom to know is found through a lifetime of practicing.
