I am happier in Boulder; there are more pedestrians here than in any other town I've been to. I love pedestrians. The lack of pedestrians is the main thing I griped about in small towns like  Seminole. Even in Longmont, the lack is distressing.
Why people don't, or can't, get on a fucking bike & fucking ride or walk to the fucking store in their own fucking hometown is a mystery to me.
I love how pedestrian and bike friendly Athens is, but there are certainly some very car and truck heavy areas. I like my neighborhood because it's among the most pedestrian-friendly, at least here in the south.
ReplyDeleteI've heard great things about Portland, Oregon on this front.
