When I was on my road-journey, I bought 2 bags to carry clothes & food on the left & right handlebars of my bicycle from the Adullam House thrift store in Wetumpka, Alabama.
1 looked like this:

CHOOSE COMPLIANCE
(which I used to carry my clothes)
And the other 1 looked like this:
(I used that one to carry my foodstuffs)
The bags themselves were both BLACK.
1. I also always carried a compass.
