Well, I've been in Salem for another week, and I must admit, I have been a bit disillusioned with the place. I was riding the other day through one of the lower neighborhoods, and I realized that this town is just as the literature warned it would be, not as nice as I expected.
A couple restaurants serve bland food, and the pavement is soiled with dirt.
I realize this sounds like a round contradiction to last week's praises, but I am just trying to balance out what I said before.
I have a plan for where I would like to end up in the near-future, but I must finish up with the business in Boulder before I can act on it. It does involve a 'roof over my head', though.
*Local restaurants I would recommend:
- Golden Crown Restaurant — Liberty Street
 - Fuji Rice Time — High Street
 - Cuisine India — State Street
 - Wallery's Pizza — Edgewater Street

Local restaurants I wouldn't recommend:
- Muchas Gracias — Multiple Locations Throughout The City
 - Sybil's Omelettes — State Street

A restaurant I feel ambivalent about:
- Magoo's — Commercial Street
