Most drugs are medicines that when taken in moderation are actually positive, but when overdosed upon, cause detrimental effects. That is why we need more freedoms surrounding drugs, so that the people can more safely moderate their doses, in a controlled environment without the fear of castigation. More confidence, more transparency. They are going to use them anyway, and it's right that they should. Fair enough. And they are going to get their lives fucked up if they're caught by an unjust system. The institution has no right to punish those who use drugs. They use drugs in an effort to improve. When the government restricts drugs in our society, they are restraining the health of our society, and punishing the desire to be good.
