I got on the bike. I rode to Seminole, Oklahoma. It wasn't all that great. It was OK. I survived. How? I had EBT. I had music. Those were the only two things I really needed. I found a little money on the way. I trusted people to give me money along the way. It really was pretty easy. I didn't have to try all that hard. I just rode for 6 months straight and arrived in Seminole, Oklahoma. I picked up some knowledge on the way. I picked up some skills along the way. I had skills to get me there, I guess. I had experience livin' on the streets of Savannah for 5 to 10 years. I knew how to survive on the streets at least in my own home town. Keep your faith, pray to God, keep it simple. You can always get the essentials: food, a blanket- MUSIC. Just got two wheels and the will to move! The will to move will get you there. It's not that hard. Met some nice people along the way. People are kind. Missing a tooth or not missing a tooth... it's really pretty easy. People support you; you're used to it. Keep a sleeping bag, a harmonica, a bag of food, your EBT card, an iPod. Other than that, you don't need much. A knife, in the event of self-defense. A spool of twine, for tying something- you don't know how many occasions called for a KNOT. A pair of scissors, for cutting your hair or packages, or whatever else might need cutting. A small saw, for cutting down trees and bushes. A flash light for the night. A odometer-speedometer for your bike, to track miles and speed. Good CDs, always good CDs. A compass to point the way West, and North for your head at night. A spoon, a fork, and a knife. Porno magazines, to keep up the sexual libido. A few spare clothes. Tools for your bike: a wrench, a screwdriver, a bike pump, bike tubes. DXM, Coffee. A lighter, etc. Whatever might be handy or 'cute' and that might fit in my bag. A prayer book, a book to write in. Memories.
