This is the story of THE BOY WHO CRIED WOLF.

Once, there was a boy. He was a shepherd who watched over the sheep of the field. His job was to protect the sheep from predators, such as wolves. 

One day, the boy played a prank. He cried, 'WOLF! WOLF!' So all the people came to his rescue. But it turns out, it was just a joke. 'There's no WOLF!' So they shook their heads in dismay, and walked away. 

One day, the boy played a 2nd prank. He cried, 'WOLF! WOLF!' So all the people came to his rescue. But it turns out, it was just a joke. 'There's no WOLF!' So they shook their heads in dismay, and walked away.

One day, the boy was sitting down in the green grass. And up comes this TERRIBLE, NASTY wolf! He's got MEAN eyes, and SHARP teeth, and he's comin' straight for the sheep! The boy cried, 'WOLF! WOLF!' But this time, all the people stayed in their houses, and ate their dinners. They shook their heads in dismay, and said: 'That boy, he's playing a prank on us, again,' and continued to eat their dinners.

Meanwhile, out in the field, all the sheep were eaten up by the wolf!
