A HANDFUL OF PRAYERS THAT I COMPOSED

Lord, help me to learn to listen, pray, read, sleep, plan, meditate, think, kill, eat, speak, work, play, mate, and die properly.

AMEN.

Reject us, O Lord, from the devil’s hand.

Protect & Defend us, O Lord, from the devil’s hand.

& Deliver us, O Lord, from the devil’s hand.

AMEN.

Lord help me not to say anything when I don’t have anything to say. When I must speak, help me to remain silent until I’ve found the right word. Then help me to say only what I need to say. 

When I’ve said enough, silence me.

AMEN.

Help me to listen as well as I can

and to be prepared for death.
